In 1963, Philip Pullman began his higher education at the prestigious Exeter College at Oxford University. In 1957 Philip returned to the United Kingdom, where he continued his schooling in Gwynedd, Wales, although he spent a lot of time in Norfolk as well, under the care of his grandfather, who was a clergyman.
